The Fabulous and interesting city of Palma, has been a popular holiday destination
for many years and it has in addition now become a choice spot for those who want
to stay there for shorter periods or long weekends.
The travel time from most parts of Europe is short and there are many inexpensive
flights on offer throughout the year and a wide choice of accommodation is available.
Other travellers recognise Palma as being the departure point for cruise ships and many
holidaymakers probably wonder if the harbour area is far from the city.
As Palma is an attractive and fairly compact city in distance terms, the marina where the enormous ships arrive and depart from, can be reached by taxi from the city centre in around twenty minutes, or by public bus in a slightly longer timescale.
You must of course allow plenty of time to make this normally short journey from the city to the harbour, as you do not wish to —miss the boat.
