You will have no difficulty in finding Palma Cathedral, because it looks out over the Old Town, the Marina etc and totally dominates the mediterranean skyline in a grand and impressive way.
If you arrive by cruise ship, the Cathedral is likely to be the first building you will be aware of as you enter the harbour. It is designed in the French Gothic style and although construction started in 1230, it was not
finished until 1601.
You should take the opportunity of visiting it during your stay and it is worth paying the small entry fee of around 4 euros, as you will then be able to enjoy and fully appreciate the beauty and size of the structure.
Visiting the Cathedral is something which you are likely to always remember as being one of the highlights of your visit to Palma.
